Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the traditional romantic, ranchero, and romantic ballads. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. When she was a child, her mother would sing with her, she started more serious training in singing at 16 under the guidance of the renowned Mexican Tenor FlavioBecerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterwards at the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. In 2000 she moved to America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. In 2007 she moved to her home in southern California. She sings in Ensemble XXI Redlands, and sings Latin American traditional music solo at many private events. Her passion for performing, music, and the arts keeps active in community projects in both her capacity as an artist and educator. Ana is also a previous member of the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana thanks the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
